As far as I concerned, though there's a world-wide common sense that one can't live without money, I don't see any seriously valuable connection between money and happiness.

If you're finacially embarrassed at the moment, there's no reason for you not to be happy. Why not taking a walk into the wild to breath some fresh air for free? It is not a bad choice, is it? Let alone you still have the ability to make money.

Happy or not, this is just about how you value, how you think, what you are pursuing and whether that is truly worth fighting for even at any cost of giving up being happy. When you're merely an ordinary people, you are supposed to be totally aware of who you are, what you've got and what position in this society you stay. Living a simple life with suffient food, clothes, money to meet every month's end and a warm family, a few genuine a health body is perhaps happy enough. Avoid to dream about living as someone else who is excessively rich and powerful. Of course, you can work hard to make it, but be careful to never lose something precious you've already got.

In a word, money can't buy everything. It is solely a tool that human invented to help them get acess to other things with one exception -- pure happiness.
